RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
U.S. RETURN POLICY
We are confident that you will be thrilled with your Miele Moda purchase. Whether your order is for a glamorous “Custom Made-to-Order” dress or a “Ready-To-Wear” beauty, we involve you in every step of the way from confirming measurements to delivery options. As a result of our personalized boutique service, we cannot accept returns unless the item of clothing is faulty.
Prior to the purchase of any of our items, you will be asked to confirm that the sizing of the item you have ordered is correct. If the dress is from our “Ready-To-Wear” section, our sizes are aligned with industry standards and we do not accept returns based on size discrepancies. We ask that you measure carefully for this reason. If the order is a Custom Made-to-Order Dress, our seamstresses will hand-produce the item in accordance with the Confirmed Sizing from our industry standard Size Chart or according to your exact custom measurements. An item produced in accordance with the Confirmed Sizing from our Standard Size Chart that does not fit as anticipated will not be considered a faulty or defective Item. We are customizing this dress for you based on the measurements that you provided. We can offer assistance on measurement procedures and advice prior to ordering, but accurate sizing ultimately is the responsibility of the buyer as we are an “online only” boutique and cannot access the clients ourselves. Due to the personalized nature of our process, we do not accept returns due to any size discrepancies.
Miele Moda only accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered defective merchandise, purchased online, that shipped to a U.S. address. If item is deemed as damaged upon return inspection, a store credit in the form of a Miele Moda E-Gift Card will be issued. We do not in any way guarantee a replacement dress can be made available. Miele Moda must be informed of defects within 5 days from the date your order shipped except for Final Sale items. FINAL SALE items are considered items with a 30% or more discount off your purchase, or items in a SALE category and cannot be returned for any reason.
Regular priced items that are faulty or defective must be reported within 5 days from shipping to qualify for an E-Gift Card equal to the purchase amount of the faulty item, not including shipping and handling. We will not accept any reported defects beyond the 5 day period from the date your order shipped and there are no exceptions to this policy. For this reason, your dress goes through two quality checks internally and we ask that you also inspect the dress upon receipt due to unforeseen delivery damage that may occur.
Please note: Orders CANNOT be changed, modified, or canceled after checkout. Miele Moda commits to Ready-To-Wear items from partners overseas and once orders are placed, modifications of any type are not accepted as item may already be in transit. Custom Dresses cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once we have confirmed acceptance of production due to the nature of our process. Custom Dresses are made solely for the buyer according to very specific details that cannot be undone once the order is placed.
If you have received a defective item, please contact Customer Care HERE within 5 DAYS to inform us of the issue. If we are not notified within 5 days of receiving the defective item, it will no longer qualify for a return. You must include a photo of the damage/defect with your email.
We are not responsible for damages to clothing caused by improper care or handling, or incorrect sizing.
Exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects, and the buyer will pay return shipping if a return to our warehouse is attempted.
RETURNS OF DEFECTIVE ITEMS
- No return will be honored unless we are contacted first and Return Authorization number is issued.
- We recommend that all returns have a tracking number.
- The cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility and is based on the delivery company and service selected.
- We are not responsible for returns that we never received.
- If item is returned in “used” condition (ie, worn down, customer damage, tags missing, product odors such as hairspray and/or perfume, etc..), this may void the return policy. All returns will be inspected upon receipt to determine if damage was the fault of Miele Moda, transport, or otherwise. If determined otherwise, this may void the return policy.
- Once we receive your return, we will refund the purchase amount, not including shipping, to a Miele Moda E-Gift Card sent to your order's email address.
INTERNATIONAL RETURN POLICY
- Miele Moda accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged defective merchandise purchased online that shipped to any international address for a store credit (Miele Moda E-Gift Card) within 15 days from the date your order shipped. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. You must contact Customer Care HERE within 15 days of the label shipping date to inform us of a defective item and initiate a return. Please note that you will still be responsible for any return shipping fees and actual shipping charges.
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS THE RETURN OF FAULTY ITEM(S)?
A: Please allow up to two weeks (14 Business Days) from the date you mail your item(s) back for your return to be processed—you will receive an email confirmation when complete.
Q: THE DRESS I ORDERED DOESN'T FIT. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
A: Miscalculated sizes by the buyer are non-refundable. We list our sizes as accurately as possible by using industry standards as our guideline. If you have concerns about size, please contact us for additional measurements before placing your order. We only offer our standard refund if we mistakenly sent you the wrong size, ie, we sent you a size 2Y when you ordered a size 5Y. Faulty item must first be returned for a refund (Miele Moda E-Gift Card).
Q: I PLACED AN ORDER BUT I NO LONGER WANT IT. CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
A: We do not offer a refund due to cancellation or buyer’s remorse. Once the order is placed, either our custom work begins or our ordering process begins to bring in your item from our vendors. We cannot reverse these processes so we ask that you are 100% certain before placing your order.
Q: CAN I RETURN AN ITEM I PURCHASED ON SALE OR CLEARANCE?
A: We do not offer returns or refunds on these items. All Sale or Clearance items are final sales.
Q: I ORDERED SEVERAL DRESSES FOR MY CHILD TO TRY ON AND SELECTED ONE. I DON'T NEED THE REST. CAN I RETURN THE REST OF THE DRESSES?
A: As our items are personalized goods and are typically custom made or processed for each client, we do not accept returns if you change your mind or no longer need items you ordered. Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.
